A sequel to the allegation that & lady,, while looking in a shop window in Edinburgh, was assaulted and robbed, is the arrest of Lieutenant C. Ayhner Cameron, of the 57th Battery of the Royal Field Artillery, stationed at Piershill Barracks, Edinburgh, and his wife. They were arrested while endeavouring to obtain insurance money by misrepresentation. The police are unable to obtain evi-. dence of the alleged assault. The missing necklace was insured. [A cable received o& 10th inst. stated : — A lady who was looking in a shop window in Edinburgh was assaulted and , robbed of a pearl necklace worth £"7000. l( The assailant escaped.]
