The head nurse of the children, of Lady Chelmsford, wife of the Governor of New South Wales, was accidentally j shot in the back at the State Government House. A person was cleaning a rifle in an adjoining room when it exploded, and the* bullet passed through a door. The woman was admitted to the hospital.
