GUN TRIALS.
I WEAPONS THAT WILL PROVE INVALUABLE. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright (Received February 25, 8.5 a.m.) LONDON, 24th 'February. The Morning Post announces that trials .of a- loin bore naval gun, also of a 3in Maxim firing shells fed' into the magazine from a .band, have taken place. The guns will, the paper states, prove invaluable to a battleship an resisting •torpedoers.
