Sturm won the 120 yds and 220 yds handicaps in 11 2-5 sec and 21 2-ssec from 12yds and 21yds respectively; A. Greig (40yds) won the 440 yds handicap in 48sec, Trembath (from scratch) running a good third in 50sec; Harston (from 45yds) won the amaterr quarter-mile, also in 49sec, from Harding (scratch), the latter's time being a tick over 51sec ; L. C. M'Lachlan (15yds) won the 'half-mile, and C. R. Red-ward (70yds) won the mil© in 4min 23 3-ssec, Campbell (scratch) being second ; Chapman and Miller won the one mile and two mile bicycle handicaps respectively, and R.
