Some surprise was occasioned on Saturday by^the win of Johnsonville in the ladies' C grade competition, St. John's (the leading team) being eclipsed by four rubbers to two. These two teams and Khandallah now share first place for championship honours, and the con test has reached a most interesting etage. The performance of W.
