SUMMER MEETING. CHRISTCHURCH, 28th January. Tqtalisator investments on the concluding day of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club's meeting amounted <U> £7185 10s, making £11,104 for the meeting, as against £12,901 10s for last year's fixture. Thirteen bookmakers were licensed at £20 each. Summer Handicap, of 140 soys; two miles.— Lady Cherry, llsec, 1; Quincoy, scr, 2; Lignite. 13sec, 3. Time, 4min 56 2-ssec. Sportsman's Handicap, of 110 soys ; one mile. — Piecework, 3&ec, 1; Scottish Mac, ssee. 2; Rosebery, ssec, 3. Time, 2min 18sec.
