BOOT MANUFACTURERS.
ANNUAL CONFERENCE. [BY TELEGEAPH— PBESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, 25th January. The annual conference of the New Zealand Federated Boot Manufacturers' Industrial Association of Employers was opened to-day. Delegates were present as follow : — Auckland : Messrs. T. Hodgson, H. Dearsley, and G. A. Coles. Christchurch : Messrs. J. A. Frostick, F. O'Brien, and P. J. De La Cour. Dunedin : Messrs. H. Pallett, W. M'Kinley, and E. W. Roy. Invercargill : Messrs. J. Kingsland, sen., and jun. The agenda paper was very lengthy. The conference will probably last until Friday, as several weighty matters concerning the trade are .under discussion. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year : — President, Mr. W. M'Kinlay ; vice-president, Mr. H. Dearsley ; executive, Messrs. J. Kingsland, jun., E. W. Roy, J. A. Frostick, W. BrunskilL and T. Hodgson; treasurer, Mr. H. Pallett; auditor, Mr. J. Elvidge.
