The next best despa.teh for Continent of Europe and United Kingdom will be via Brindisi, dosing at Wellington, per Warrimoo, Friday, 27th inst., at 3 p.m. The next best despatch for Canada, United States of America, and West Indies, will be via Rarotonga, Tahiti, and San Francisco, closing at Wellington, per Main Trunk tram, Friday, 10th February, at 10.30 n.m. All the principal mails by train and^steamef close at Te Aro and Courtenay-place Pqßt Offices at the same boiirs as at tiie Chief Post Office, with the exception that there is no iate-fee clearance. Unless otherwise specified, registered letters and parceU-post packages must be handed iv and money orders obtained one hour befoie tbe ordinary mail closes. All books and sample packets and newspapers for places wit bin tbe Dominion must be posted half an hour before the ordinary letter mail closes.
