LODGE MEETINGS.

Court Robin Hood, No. 4428, A.0.F., held its' usual meeting at St. Peter's Hall, Bro. A. S. Needham presiding. During ths course of the meeting, Bro. Webber, P.D.C.R., on behalf of the court, presented Bro. T. Bailey, P.C.F., with a silver teapot (suitably engraved) and a jam-dish, for his past services, and hoped that he would be spared to do a lot more useful work for the court. Bro. Bailey suitably responded. After the business of the court had been transacted, the members passed a pleasant half hoar at " Bobs." Bro. Jackson's team defeated Bro. Amstell's team by 6 points, the top scorer being Bro. Pinnock with 30. The fortnightly meeting of the Melrose Lodge, No. 66, U.A.0.D.. Kilbirnie, was held in O'Donnell"s Hall last evening, Arch-Druid Bro. H. J. Solomon presiding. Routine business being disposed of. farewell was taken of Bros. Brand and Horlor, who are leaving for South Africa. The arch-druid, on behalf of the lodge, thanked the brothers named for the assistance they had rendered the lodge. An official visit will be paid to the Pride of Brooklyn Lodgo on Thursday evening, also a visit to Island Bay Lodge on Thursday week. Vice Arch. Bro, Beu (Island Bay Lodge-) was the only visitor ; to him a vote of thanks was passed. Members are reminded that a card tournament and social evening will bo held at next lodgo meeting, P.A. Bro. Marlow presenting the trophy.
