Will sail again from West Coast ports for New Zealand 18th March. OFFICERS' CHAXGEB. Captain R. G. Hutton rejoined the Navua at Auckland on Tuesday, and Captain D. McLean left for south for orders. Captain P. C. Ross, of the Haupiu, and Captain Morrison, of the Squall, exchanged ships at Gisborne, owing to the illness of CapUui Ross. Captain J. G. Gregory joined the Talune as acting second officer for the trip to Rarotonga and Papeete. Mr. J. Rankine, late of the Mapourika, has joined the Maori as third officer in place of Mr. G. Morgan, who transfers to the Poherua. TAINUI AT MONTE VIDEO. Cabled advice has been received by the local agents for the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company that the Tainui, which left Wellington on the 30th of December for London, continued her voyage from Monte Video on Tuehday morning list. The vessel is one da"y ahead of time-tabje date. NEW ZEALAND PASSENGERS BY OPHIR. Due at Sydney to-day from London, the Oriental liner Ophir has the following passengers for New Zealand :— Mr. Justice Denniston and Mrs. Dennitton, Mr. and Mr 6. W. Cussoiis and child, Mr. and Mrs. Gates and Miss Gates, Mr. Owen Lynch, Mr. H. G. Paradine, Mr. J. Pottinger, and Mr. Alex. Thomson. This evening the coastal steamer Mangapapa is due here from Karamea and Westport. She is to sail on her icturn trip to-morrow. On Monday nest the Government training ship Amokura is to leave Wellington for Auckland en route to Kermadecs. The Kaitoa will not come to Wellington this week, as she is undergoing an overhaul at Nelson. The Union Company advise that intending passengers by the Aorangi for San Francisco cannot join the vessel at Wellington, as she is leaving here four days earlier in older to undergo an overhaul at Auckland. Passengers may proceed to Auckland by the Mokoia, which leaves here on the Cth of February, or by Main Trunk expresi. Messrs. Johnston and Co. advise that the coastal steamer Tainui is due .here from Waitara to-Bight. She is to sail on her return trip to Waitara. and Mokau at 4 p.m. tomorrow. Mr. 11. Scott, chief engineer of the Wimmera, has been appointed chief engineer of the Ulimaroa in place of ?Jr. J. Lonnerdale, who' has joined the Zealandia. Mr. H. Petrie, late of the Despatch, fills the vacancy on the Wimmera. The Maorfland Company's steamer Ennerdale leffc Sydney on Tuesday for Newcastle to load coal for New Zealand. At 7.20 pjn. yesterday the Regulus passed -Wellington Heads bound to Westport. The Shaw, Savill and Albion chartered steamer Roseric is fixed to leave Wellington for London about the 4th of February.
