RIFLE ASSOCIATION MEETING.
The annual meeting of the Wellington Garrison Volunteer Rifle Association, to be held at Trcntham next Monday and Tuesday, 2nd and 3rd January, promises to be very successful. Over 140 entries have already been received, and others are expected between now and Saturday night. The competitors will include some of the best marksmen in Wellington and suburbs, Masterton, Opaki, Bulls, Palmerston, and Dannevirke. The Wellington volunteer champion belt (volunteers only) and the Wellington district champion belt (open to both volunteers and rifle club men) will bo competed for.
