An account ot her loyage to Auckland has already been given in tho Post, only one call— at Las Patinas— being made on the" voyage to Xew Zealand. The Hawkes Bay lett Auckland tor Wellington on Friday morning, and - encountered stiong head winds and swell till Cape Turnagain was passed,' otherwise port would have been reached yesterday. It is expected that discharging operations will be completed on Wednesday afternoon, when the vessel will leave for Ljttelton and Dunedin with the residue. .From the latter poit the Hawkes Bay will sail for Brisbane and other Australian ports to'load for London. She is now berthed at W, Jervois-quay. Mr W. W. Luke, second engineer of the Wanaka, ua» come ashore, and lite place has been filled by the piomotion ol" the third engineei (Mr. Crawford) Mr W P. Necessary lepairs to the tramp Strathclyde, which recently put into Lyttelton with a damaged rudder, en locite from* Newcastle to South Ameiica, will be carried but by Messrs Stevenson and Cook, of Port Chalmeis. The rudder and its damaged accessories will be restored, and repairs will also b6 made to the engines and deck fittings. . The woik will occupy about a month.
