A disastrous hailstorm was experienced at Yundamindera. Jagged pieces of ice killed fowls and smaller animals, stripped foliage from the trees, broke windows, and did other damage to property. SHEEP STAMPEDE. DURING A STORM AT SINGLETON. (Received November 8, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. During a storm at Singleton, a flock of 700 sheep rushed into a deep gully, where they piled up in a heap and nearly "all smothered ; as a matter of fact, only eight were saved. TOWN IN QUEENSLAND VISITED. NEARLY ALL THE BUILDINGS DAMAGED, (Received November 8, 10.57 -a.m.) BRISBANE, This Day. At Richmond, a cyclone almost demolished the Roman Catholic Church, two hotels, and the railway buildings. Nearly all the buildings in town were damaged. A truck was driven along the line by the wind. It smashed another, and was then lifted bodily off the rails.
