There has been • considerable mystery over the disappearance of Ethel Harris five months ago. She had lived with, a man named Alfred Smart, who is now in gaol waiting his trial on ay charge of bigamy. The girl disappeared just prior to Smart's marriage to another woman. The police, while digging in the yard of the house were Smart lived, found articles of Harris's clothing, an iron bar with hair attached to it, and other .articles. Smart says Harris left him a. week be--fore his marriage. The case is awakening tremendous io•terest.
