PONEKE LODGE, U.A.O.D., PETONE.
The lodge held its fortnightly meeting last evening, Bro. Devine, A.D., presiding.- One candidate presented himself, and was initialed. Visitors were present from the Star of New Zealand, PalmI erston, and Shannon ledges. The office of V.A.B. having become vacant, Bro. Savags wag elected,, and installed by •f.D.P. Bro. Davis. The ceremony wsui j impressive. Next lodge night will be .a pound night and ladies' night. The entertainment committee has the matter in hand.
