WHITEHAVEN MINE DISASTER.
SIXTY-SEVEN BODIES RECOVERED. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. LONDON, 3rd October. Twenty-seven of the sixty-seven bodies recovered from the Wellington colliery at Whitehaven have been identified. It is feared that some are quite unrecognisable. Vast crowds attended the first of the funeralb, which took place yesterday.
