LATE BRISBANE EXHIBITION.
THE FINANCIAL RESULT. The detailed accounts show the last Brisbane Exhibition to have been « most successful one. The gross expendi* ture was £5950, and it is estimated that after everything has been paid thera will be a credit balance of £1541, which includes about £160 brought forward from last year. It was said that tha "one-farm" exhibit system had been so successful that many inquiries had been received from persons who intend to compete next year. It was announced that the society was likely to get th^ use of a Jarge area of land adjoining, and that this would give greater facfli. ties for the examination of horses fos Government certificates, without whicli they cannot obtain prizes.
