OFFER FROM BANK OF NEW ZEALAND. [BI TELIGRAra — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] GISBOR-NE, This Day. The Borough Conncil to-day received an offer from the Bank of New Zealand to grant a loan of £175,000 at 4 per cent, intei'ost, commission, and other expenses totalling £5250. The offer is conditional upon the council . retransferring its banking account to the Bank of New Zealand. Consideration was held over till to-morrow. The council in the meantime is communicating with the Mayor, who received the offer of a 4 per cent, loan in London.
