Results : — Zingari-Richmond (18) beat Alhambra (12). Southern and University drew — 14 all. Dunedin and Union drow — 6 all. This was Alhambra's first defeat for two years. They win the championship with Zingari runners up. Zingari deserved their win today. Kaikorai (3), beat Pirates (nil); Taieri (6), beat Port (nil). CHRISTCHURCH FI*[ ALS. CHRISTCHURCH, 12th August. Old Boys beat Merivale, who had been leaders for championship, by 16 points to 3. Christchnrch beat Sydenham in a fast game by 19 points to 7. Linwood beat Marist Brothers by 6 points to 3. Albion beat Canterbury College by 20 points to 3. Merivale's defeat gives Albion the senior championship by half a point. POVERTY BAY v. BUSH UNION. GISBORNE, 12th August. The match Bush. Union v. Poverty Bay resulted in a win for the latter by 17 points to 3. For the winners tries were scored by Nicolas, Tamati (2), and Ryland, Kaipara converting. Smith scored for the Bush Union.
