GERMAN NAVY.
REPORT REGARDING INCREASED CONSTRUCTION. Bj Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright. BERLIN, 23rd July. The Socialibt newspaper Vorwaerts, which occasionally publishes official news, announces that a Navy Bill will be introduced after the next election increasing the Dreadnought construction from two to four annually after 1911. The paper also gives details of a private debate on the Budget, when all the non-Socialist parties pledged themselves to support the new programme before the end of 1912. [The German Navy Estimates for 1910 amounted to £21,704,411, as compared with £21,980,000 anticipated. The increases were remarkable, and affected practically every vote and service. Tho total increase, as compared with last year, was no less than £2,109,442. Th* vote for submarines was increased from £500,000 to £750,000.]
