Sympathisers with the Gra.nd Trunk railway strikers, nrged by women, mobbed the strike-breaking crew of a freight train at Brockville, Ontario. The Riot Act wm read and a company of militia quelled the disturbance.' Mr. Hays, president of the Grand Trunk, declares that the strike is broken. ON THE WABASH LINE. MEN .WILL RESUME WORK TO-MORROW. (Received July 25, 10.5 a.m.) NEW YORK, 24th July. Train men at the Wabash line will resume work on Tuesday next. STRIKE ENDED. NORTH-EASTERN RAILWAY. LONDON, 23rd July. The strike on the North-Eastern railway caused a loss oi £140,000 during the three days it lasted.
