DISTRICT NURSING GUILD.

The final list of donors in connection with the recent special effort to raise £1000 in aid of the District Nursing , Guild of St. John, is forwarded by Mr. j W. B. Fisher. The list brings the total amount received during the past few weeks up to £1100, the public having generously subscribed just £100 more than the committee asked for. This sum, added to the previous amounts invested, will provide sufficient income to maintain two expert professional nurses to work among the sick pooi- of Wellington, for all time. The almoner work of the guild will, however, require further support to mako it thoroughly effective. The ' following is the final list: — A Friend, 1 ss ; Mts.
