To-morrow, at 2 o'olook, Mr. W. L. Robertson will sell by public auction, in his roome, Manners-street, household furnituro and surdries. By the Tainui Messrs. Rit6hie and Son, fishmongers, Molesworth-street, havo received a largo consignment of kippered herrings from Scotland. This is believed to be the first shipment in quantity to Wellington. The fish havo been specially prepared for tho export trade, in which Mr. Ritchie was himself engaged, sending cured fish, as far as South Africa and Western Australia. The consignment has arrived in prime condition.
