ORANGE CELEBRATIONS.

Yesterday afternoon the Loyal Orange Institution held its annual celebration. Members of all the city and suburban lodges, in full regalia, marched through the principal streets, headed by the Central Mission Band, to The King's Theatre, where a united service was held at 3 o'clock. A large choir, drawn principally from the Trinity Methodist and Berhampore Baptist Churches, and under the baton of Mr. H. Gladstone Hill, rendered concerted items, an orchestra of twenty instruments, conducted by Mr. Hosie, assisting. Prominent members of the lodges, with the choir, were allotted seats on the platform. Amongst these were the Revs. E. O. Blamires, who presided, Keith Ewen (Baptist), P. J. Cossum (Primitive Methodist), Pastor D. M'Crackett, P.G.M. J. Aston, Or. Petherick (Grand Secretary), J. Lindsay (Grand Treasurer), and J. Thompson (District Grand Master). The following Masters of lodges were al3o on the platform : — Bros J. R. Purdie, G. Parker, J. Carter, D. M'Kay, and J. M'Donald Johnston. The Rev. Mr. Blamires took as hio text : "And you shall know the truth, and the, truth shall make you free." (John, 8, 32). The choir, which included members of the Lyric Male Choir, gave th© following anthems : — "The Radiant Morn that Passed Away" and 'The Glory of tho Lord" (froni "The Messiah"). The Lyric Male Choir sang "Comrades in Arms." The service concluded with the "Hallelujah Choraa."
