Cotton — June-July shipment is quoted on the Liverpool Exchange at 7.75 d. Wheat. — Excellent crop prospects are reported from the whole of the Canadian North-west. Copper — On spot, £59 8s 9d per ton; three months, £56 2s 6d ; electrolytic, £58 10s. Tin— On spot, £148 10s per ton; threemonths, £149 15s. Lead — Imports, 17,293 tons, including 4000 tons from Australia ; exports, 6295 tons. (Received June 13, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 12th June. Galvanised iron, £13 10s. The Frozen Meat Trade Association's Smithfield markec quotations for the undermentioned classes of frozen meat are based on actual sales of not less thau one hundred carcases of mutton or lamb, and twen:y-fivo quarters of beef of fair averago quality The quotations aro not for selected lines, but for parcels fairly representative of tho bulk of the shipments now on the market. Tho prices which follow are on an average a farthing per lb more than the value ex ship, this difference representing an averago cost it axpenso3, handling, conveyance, and sell-, ing the meat: — Now Zealand Sheep. — Canterbury, price© unchanged; North Island, 3 9-16 d; best brand's, 3Jd. New Zealand Lambs. — Canterbury, prices unchanged ; Southland, 5 7-16 d; North Island, sid; seleotod, 5 7-16 d. New Zealand Beef. — Foros, 4£d; fair quality, sd ; inferior quality, unchanged. Australian Beef. — Fores, 43; hinds, 4Jd. River- Plate Sheep. — Prices unchanged. River Plate Beef. — Fores, 4&d ; hinds, 4Jd. River Plate lamb, sd. RABBITS. The rabbit market is dull and prices unchanged. Importers think there will bo a difficulty in obtaining freight, and that this is likely to cause a shortage in August and September.
