FATAL ACCIDENTS. MAN KILLED AT OTIRA. [BT TELEGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The Star'h Otiia correspondent telegraphs that Frank Brosnan, a timberman, employed in the tunnel at Otira, was killed this morning. Ho was knocked down by one of the trucks, which ran over him. Brosnan was a steady man, a native of Ireland. A WOMAN'S DEATH. TIMARU, This Day. Mrs. Fildes, who, while cycling, got in front of a train at a crossing at Temuka ye.steiday tiflemoon, died this morning from shock. Mrs. Fildes was badly cut dbot't her head and face, but no bones were broken.
