NEW ZEALAND TEAM. ARRANGEMENTS FOR FRIDAY. A special meeting of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union was held yesterday afternoon to arrange details for the match on Friday between the New Zealand team for Australia and the Wellington representative fifteen Mr. J. Francis was appointed referee for the match. Subject to the receipt of certain information by the Fecretury, it was decided that a lacrosse match should be played as a "curtainraiser" to the main game. As the day of the match is not a Government holiday it iras decided to ark ihe Government to let off as many employees in different departments arj could be spared to see the match. THE MAORI TEAM. [BY XBLEGRArH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, 30th May. The New Zealand Maori team left Auckland for Sydney by the steamer Victoria this evening. The party, who number 28, went under the management of Mr. W. T. Parata.
