An election to fill the election in* the Belmore seat in the House of Assembly, caused by the death of Mi 1. E. W. O'Sullmm, resulted in the return of Mr. P. J. Minahan (Labovir) by a large majority over the other candidates, Messrs J. Jones and G. T. Clarke.
