At its last meeting the Scottish Pipers' and Dancers' Society unanimously appointed Mr. W. Dinnie president, and Messrs. C. J. Crawford, A. Dickson, and G. F. Gibbes, vice-presidents. It was decided to have a, visitors' night on the last Friday in the month when members may bring lady or gentlemen friends. Itwas also decided to have piping and dancing competitions at the end of the year when an outside judge would be requisitioned to make the awards. A VALUABLE WATER. The following is an extract from a lettor received by Mes=rs. Thomson and Co . Dunedin. from a gentleman well-know a throughout the Dominion: —" 'Wairongoa Water has proved a cure for a disease which I suffered from for 25 years —viz., gallstone.
