SERIOUS SHOOTING ACCIDENT.
A Dutcher named John Pvussell, residing at Northland, was accidentally shot by hte brother-in-law, Mr. Moran, while out rabbiting at Makara yesterday afternocn. While the men were descending a hill, Moran slipped, and his gun •-!>- charged, the charge entering Russell's body on the right sido above the h'^. After temporary attention, at Makara, Russell was removed to tie hospital. His condition is terioub.
