MEMORIAL SERVICES.
TO-MORROW'S ARRANGEMENTS. Tlie following will be the programme at the children's memorial service at the Ba-fein Reserve to-morrow, commencing at 10.30 a.m. : — Hymn, "0 God, Our Help in Ages Past," Mr. W. Hopkirk, vice-president of the Sunday School Union ; opening sentences of burial service, Rev. S. J. Serpell (Methodist) ; hymn, "When Our Heads are Bowed with Woe," Rev. A. Dewdney (Baptist) ; Scripture, I Cor. xv., 35-58, Rev. W. Shirer (Presbyterian) ; address, Mr. G. Flux j hymn, "Nearer, My God, to Thee," Rev. Ma*cdonald Aspland (Congregationalist); address, Mr. H. N. Holmes (V.M.0.A.) ; hymn, "Abide With He," Rev. P. J. Cossum (Primitive Methodist) ; prayer, Mr. S. J. Mathieson (Congregationalist; Benediction, Rev. J. Gibson Smith (Presbyterian). The Central Mission Band will assist the musical service. AFTERNOON SERVICE. The united memorial service will be held at 2.30 outside the old Parliament Buildings if fine, and at the Town Hall if the weather is bad. The order of the service will he : — Hymn, "0 God, Our Help," to be announced by the Rev. T. Kennedy Elliott (Presbyterian), opening sentences of the burial service. Rev. J. Dawson (Primitive Methodist) ; Scripture, Psalm 90, Rev. T. Fee (Methodist) ; hymn, "When Our Heads are Bowed With Woe," Rev. W. A. Evans (Congregationalist) ; Scripture, Psalm 39, Rev. H. Van Staveren (&<■ brew): hymn, "Rock of Ages," Mr. James Moore (Missions to Seamen) ; lesson, I Corinthians, xv., 35-58, Rev. W Shirer (Presbyterian) ; hymn, "Nearer, My God, to Thee," Rev. J. Reed Glasson \ Congregationalist) ; address, Rev. J. Kennedy Elliott (Presbyfceriaji); prayer, Rev. J. J. North (Baptist) ; hymn, "Abide With Me," Adjutant Gunn (Salvation Army) ; Lord's Prayer, Prayer for the King, and Benediction, Rev. T. H. Sprott (Anglican) ; Dead March, the Garrison Band. ST. PAUL'S PRO-CATHEDRAL. His Excellency the Governor will attend a memorial service at St. Paul's pro-Cathedral at 10.30 a.m. to-morrow. The order of service will be as follows : — Processional hymn ; bass sclo, "I am thq Resurrection and the Life" (Parker), Mr. C. Clarkson; Psalm 90 j lesson; anthem, "Wreaths for Our Graves," (Sir Arthur Sullivan) ; prayers ; tenor tolo, "Then Shall the Righteous "Shine Forth" (Mendelssohn), Mr. Jas. Searle ; hymn 499 ; Benediction ; the Dead March in "Saul" (Handel). OTHER SERVICES. A funeral service will take place at the Synagogue at 4.30 to-morrow afternoon. Mr. J. Moord will hold a memorial service at the Missions to Seamen at 7.30 to morrow evening. A united memorial service will be held at Petone in the morning, and the Recreation Ground. Lower Hutt, at 2.30 p.m.
