The annual conference of Oddfellows at Southampton discussed a proposal *o rr,tablish a solvency insurance fund, aiming at raising the deficiency of lodges io a 90 per cent, standard of solvency. It is estimated that a penny-in-the-£ levy would raise a £10,000 reserve fund. The suggestion will be resubmitted to the next conference. SCULLING CHAMPIONSHIP. ARNST LEAVES BY THE MEDIC.
