There is 'likely to be- trouble among the boot operatives owing to the delay of the Federal High Court in dealing ■with tthe appeal from the decision in favour of the men. Tie boot employees of Sydney intend approaching the Federal Government to ask for tho removal of the duty on boots because 'the men got no benefit from the employers through tho protective tariff.
