A second expedition sent by the Stockholm Academy of Science, under Dr. Majoberg, will arrive in July. Dr. Majobarg will spend two years in the Kimberley district, the object being to solve animal a-nd geographical questions, and to ascertain to what extent immigration has taken place from the Malay Islands and its influence on the flora and fauna. By the explosion at the American Sheet Tin-Plate Company's works at Canton, Ohio, which resulted in loss of : life, the whole side of a building was blown out, and some men were imprisoned beneath fallen beams.
