RETURNS OF THE WEEK. R-etnrns from the City Tramways for the week ending Bth May, 1910, show a very slight decrease as compared with the receipts for the corresponding week of 1909. The midnight car is still running successfully, as shown by the figures :—: — Monday, 13 passengers ; Tuesday, 62 ; Wednesday, 35 ; Thursday, 18 ; Friday, 28; Saturday, 36. Last Sunday- the special morning cars carried 251 adults and 11 children, while the evening "specials" from Con-stable-street and Newtown were patronised to the extent of 82 and 92 passengers respectively.
