FIRE AT LEVIN.
THREE SHOPS DESTROYED. [BY TELEGRAPH — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] LEVIN, This Day. A fire this morning destroyed three shops with their contents in the centre of the town. The origin of the outbreak is unknown. P. Stevens, grocer, had all the contents of his shop destroyed, and held an insurance of £350. Wheatly, stationer, , lc*t all his stock, his insurances amounted to £150. ; Campbell, milliner, lost all the contents of the shop, and had an insurancev of £100. The buildings were badly damaged, and whether they were insured or not is not ascertainable. Two of them were owned by H. Campbell, of Norsewood. The Minimax hand fire extinguisher is just the thing to put out a lire. A boy or girl can use it. A. T % Bate, Nathan's Buildings, will tell you all about it. — Advt.
