TIDAL PHENOMENON.
AT MACLEAN, N.S.W. By Telegraph. -Press Association. — Copyright. (Received May 10, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Thert have been phenomenally high tides at Maclean, on the Clarence River, during the past two days. Areas only previously covered at flood time are submerged. A heavy sea is running, without any wind. This is an indication that tho phenomenon is due to some outside influence backing up the tides.
