[BY TELEGRAPH— PEESS ASSOCIATION.] VVHANGAREI, This Day. Hoteren© te Kawiti, a notable Maori *nd chief of tho Ngatixnanu tribe, died at VVaiornio, near Kawakawa, on Thursday evening. He was great-grandson o* Te Kawiti, wiw was Heke's general during tlhe Maori War. Natives are flocking in by scores from all parts of the North, to attend fclie tangi.
