CENTRAL MISSION.
The Wellington Central Mission will open to-morrow evening in The Kind's Theatre, the service commencing at 7 o'clock. The brass band will march from Ghuzn-ee-street to the new li^-atl-quarters shortly before that hour, and after playing a selection outside aie theatre, will assist in the opening exercises inside the building. The new missioner (Rev. E. O. Blamires), vf»o recently arrived from Dunedin, will.lbe in charge, and in his opening address will speak from the subject "A Vision of Wellington," and a special feature. of the service will be the singing of* at solo by Mr. C. A. Potts (of the HenryPotts Mission Party). It is -expected" that the expansion of the Central Mission, by the securing of The King'sv Theatre for Sunday evening services.f will be but the precursor of fresh ac-< tivities in social and religious enterprise : along the lines of the Central Missions of Auckland and Dunedin. The new building is eminently suited for the fresh development, and with roomy accommodation will give opportunity for growth such as was impossible in the hall in Herbert-street. The opening service >rill be marked by bright singing and, on account of the mission meeting to follow in the Town Hall, will be confined to. png hour.
