ST. MARK'S YOUNG MEN'S CLUB.
Gratifying progress was reported at tho annual meeting of St. Marks Young Men's Club held on Tuesday evening. The Rev. A. M. Johnson presided. The balance-sheet showed cash in hand £1 12b 9d, and the value of assets over liabilities to be. £26 7s 9d. Officer* for the ensuing year were elected as follow :—: — President, tho Rev. A. M. Johnson, j M.A. ; vice-presidents, the Rev. C. E. i Tobin, Messrs. G. Burliiop, J. Besant, ' F. Caterer, O. Clapliam, J. Firth, W ' Gnudin, G. Hull, W. Hueston, T. Pilcher, R. Rawnsl»>y, .and h. Watkins ; ! secretory, Mr. L. C. Barnes; treasurer, Mr. M. F. Andrews; librarian, Mr. B. W. Legg ; magazine editor, Mr. G. C. Smith ; committee, Messis. F. Caterer, R. Rawnsley, R. Caterer, W. Hitching, H. Sanders, and G. Smith. The syllabus for the year was drawn up. "Impromptu Debater." will churacteriso next •week's meeting.
