She It expected, however, to reach here in time to commence her discharge of local cargo from London on Thurmlay morning. A BAD BAR. Owing to rough weather on the West Coast the bar at Orey mouth is unnnvlgable. The Union Company ha* bc-n adviied that the r.h. Arahura, from Wellington, via the coant. hat been unable to effect an entrance. She is waiting outside. THE TOMOANA. Word has been received that the s.s. Tomoana will load at New York under the aiupices or the A. and A. line. The vessel will leave that portion the 20th June for Australian and NgprZealand port*. Bhe should arrive here about the end ot August. A FULL CARGO. Loaded to her full capacity the Tyser liner Star ol Australia left this afternoon for London. KIA ORA'B PROGRAMME. On completion of her discharge the Shaw, Savlll, and Albion Company's steamer Kia Ora will proceed from Wellington to load at Xapler. From there she sail* for Bluff, Timaru, and Lyttelton before returning to Wellington. THE ARAHURA. Later advice* to the Union Company state that the Arahura crossed tho Grey bar this morning. She is timed to set out on her return trip at 11 o'clock to-night, and cannot reach Wellington before Thursday. The Government steamer Hlnemoa left Westport this morning for Wellington. Mr. A. Scales, third mate of the Hauroto. has signed off. and his place will be filled by Mr. A. McLeilan. Mr E. N. Hall, second mate of the Mapourika, lias also signed off.
