THE ACCIDENT ON A CRUISER.
« EIGHT MEN KILLED. By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright* NEW YORK, 29th March. Admiral Hubbard reports that the accident on the United States cruiser | Charleston occurred off Olangapo Island, 1 during target practice, and was due to the premature discharge of a three-inch gun. The breech-block was blown across the deck. Eight men were killed and several were injured.
