BOWLING.
A progressive pairs tournament at Kelnurne Green on Saturday resulted as follows :— Skips : White, first ; J. Routley, second, leads'. Druiy, first; Coiili, second. In a pairs tournament yesterday, Williamson was first, and Kelly second as skips, and M'Coll first, and Man ley second as leads. At the Lower Hult Bowling Green, ♦he club tournament was proceeded with, and keen interest' was taken in the play by a largo number of spectators. The games resulted :— F. Smith (skip)', Barlow, and Cates, 5 wins; M'Artliur and Udy, 4 wins each j Jones, 3 wins ; Castle, Henry, and Carter, 2 en< h ; and Mudge, Hay, and Gilmour, 1 game each. PALMERSTON TOURNEY. PALMERSTON N., 28th March. The bowling tournament was continued to-day. Tho sixth round of the pairs left Thompson and Webb (Wellington). Nash and Hay don (Palmer■ton), Abiaham and Taskor (l'almer*ton) a tip. The et'mi finals and finals will be played to-morrow.
