The railhead of the Midland Railway •n the eastern side of the range is now •nly a mile or so from the site of Cass Station (states Saturday's Otago Daily Times), and next week the workmen's township, with its school, Government •ffices, workshops, and stores, will be •hifted from Broken River to the Cass. Messrs. C. Smith, Ltd., advertise the arrival of tweed hats in the latest styles. The new style of travelling is to get the New Zealand Express Company to check one's baggage.
