SIGNIFICANT VISIT.

BULGARIA AND TURKEY. SOVEREIGNS AT CONSTANTINOPLE. GERMAN AND AUSTRIAN PRJESS. By Telegraph.~Pres« Association.— Copyright. (Received March 23, 9 a.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, 22ml March. King Ferdinard and Queen Eleonora of Bulgaria were cordially entertained at Constantinople. The vibit is significant after their Majesties' recent journey to St. Petersburg. The Austrian and German press show soreness with regard to the visit. King Ferdinand a short time ago visited St. Petersburg, and it was understood King Peter of Servia would visit Constantinople, as the outcomo of Russia's efforts to bring about a rapprochement of Bulgaria and Servia with Turkey, with a view to ultimate federation. During the visit to Russia of King Ferdinand toa°ts were exchanged by him and the Tsar. These were deemed to be irreconcilable with declarations of Russo-Turkibh friendship, and the Turkish newspapers weic displeased. King Ferdinand has apparently hastened to soothe ruffled Turki&h feelings. M. Paprikoff, Bulgarian Minister for Foreign Affairs, who accompanied King Ferdinand to Russia, has /stated that an agreement has been reached for the preservation of peace in the Balkans and the maintenance of concord among the Balkan nations. Russia, and Austria recently exchanged verbal assurances of common recognition of the status quo of the Balkans and the resumption of cordial relations.
