RIFLE SHOOTING.

NAVALS v. GAS COMPANY. A team of Wellington Navals fired a match at Miramar on Saturday afternoon against a side representative of the Wellington Gas Company. Each marksman had seven phots at the 200 yds and 500 yds range*. The Navals won by 56 points. Details are appended :—: — W.N.A.V.

THE SEASON'S RESULTS. • In a report forwarded by the Navals. mention is made that the present reason has not been so successful as last year with regard to attendance, but the shooting has improved. The championship belt and medal were won by Gunner Gibbs, with an nggiegate score of 550. Last year's aggregate score was 503, scored by Gunner Boon. THE PETONE CLUB.
