In view of the lease of the Tasmania^ offices terminating in September next. Mr. M'Call (Tasmanian Agent-General) conferred with Sir George Reid, Australian High Commissioner, as to whether the latter would be able to give Tasmania accommodation in the new Commonwealth buildings. Sir George Reid is continuing his enquiries regarding likely premises for Tasmania; but he has found it impossible at present to promise any definite arrangement in the direction suggested by Mr. M'Call. "
