'Ihe ex-President of the United States, Mr. Roosevelt, who has been on a hunting tour in Africa, and his wife and daughter are staying at tho Khartoum Palace. They inspected the battlefields near the city.. Mr. Roosevelt addressed the students at the Goidon College. He was impressed, he Knid, with t!;e wonderful results of Britis-h rule, particularly the palatial houses and gardens in Khartoum.
