be the future of the proposed Dominion , Shipping Company, a representative of | which recently left for England in regard to the purchase of steamers, the beginning is to be a very modest one. It is understood the company has now passed the introductory stage, and that the capital is £25,000. The company, however, i* - not yet registered. The promoters intend to commence operations on the East Coast, and devote themselves merely to local trado. The poition of the const to be worked will be between the East Cape and Napier.
