MIRAMAR BOROUGH COUNCIL
The Miramar Borough Council met last night, there being present — The Mayor (Mr. C. J. Crawford) and Councillors M'Leod, Brodie, Muirj and Bowie. Two notices of motion by Councillors Bell and Bowie reapeclively, relating to tramway matters, were held over owing to the absence of Councillor Bell. Tt wa6 agreed to discuss the motions at a special meeting of the council to be convened later. It was decided to place notice boards on the benches at Karaka Bay and Seatoun at conspicuous points, warning picnickers and others against leaving broken (bottles, etc., lying about. Accounts amounting to £140 19s Id were passed for payment. It was shown that the council ha» a. credit btluico *t th» bask of £460 Is lOd.
